Chris Hewison was admitted as a Solicitor in July 1977. Since that date he has practiced as an assistant solicitor, in his own name (in Featherstone); in partnership (with John Nixon – still Featherstone) and latterly as a salaried partner when his firm was bought by another firm (still in Featherstone).
Since the inception of his firm in 1981 he has been responsible for managing a conveyancing department with a significant caseload of residential conveyancing and commercial property transactions. He has also dealt with a significant caseload of Wills and Probate work along with other private client matters.
He has significant knowledge about, and experience of, dealing with all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instructions to the completion. The wealth of conveyancing knowledge and experience, both in relation to residential and commercial property, he has accumulated has been invaluable in training and supervising many members of staff – from administrative support staff to associate and senior solicitors – both in his own firms and now within CLS Solicitors.
He has built a reputation based on his expertise, which is underpinned by the extensive knowledge and experience gained over many years of practice, and which is allied to the friendly, personal and professional approach to client care.
